The Promoters of this competition are SunBet. SUNBET PTY LTD (REGISTRATION NUMBER 2008/014410/07) TRADING AS SUNBET IS LICENSED BY THE WESTERN CAPE GAMBLING AND RACING BOARD.

The judge's decision is final and binding and no correspondence or negotiations will be entered into.

By entering and participating in this competition, you consent to opting in to marketing communications from SunBet.

All participants agree to be bound by the competition rules.

Competition Period: The competition commences on 20 December 2022 and will terminate at midnight on 5 February 2023 and maybe extended. No late entries will be accepted.

Prize:

One winner will receive a ‘cash amount’ to the value of R250 000,00 in their registered SunBet account.

The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and may not be replaced, refunded or be exchanged for cash. The prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions and the winners agree that any additional costs will be the responsibility of the winner.

Winners use and accept prizes at their own risk. SunBet and the prize sponsors (and/or their respective agencies) cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of property experienced as a result of winning, accepting and/or utilising prizes won.

Entry Mechanism: To stand a chance to win, entrants must be verified SunBet customers who have placed bets within the promotion period:

• every bet of R10 – R99 earns 1 entry
• every bet of R100 – R999 earns 15 entries
• every bet over R1000 – earns 200 entries

Prize Draw: The winner will be randomly selected by 10 February 2023 and contacted by SunBet on the email address submitted during competition entry. Note: the winner will be required to submit valid identification before receiving the prize. If a winner cannot be contacted after 3 attempts or if sufficient identity verification is not provided within 3 days, SunBet reserves the right to draw a replacement winner.

Standard Terms

1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the Win R250 000 January Promotion promotional competition (“promotional competition”).
2. This promotional competition is exclusive to SunBet customers, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this promotional competition.
3. Participants earn entries into a lucky draw during the promotional period which commences on 20 December 2022 and terminates on 5 February 2023 by placing bets on the SunBet website in accordance with the terms and conditions of the platform.
4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. The number of valid entries are not limited.
5. Bets placed using Bonuses or Free Bets will not count towards entry into the competition.
6. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
7. The respective draw times and dates, and criteria to qualify for entry into the draw will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotional competition.
8. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
9. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
10. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
11. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes, finalists, and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
12. Every participant in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation. This version of the rules are the official rules and supersedes any other document purporting to be rules for this promotional competition.
13. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that SunBet waives any of its rights.
14. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
15. These rules are the official rules for this promotional competition and supersedes any other version.
16. Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice.
